Bad Media Error

I have been running Backup Exec with out a failure for 2 months. Now for no apperent reason every nigth the job is failing because the known "good" tape are being labled as "bad". I have cleaned the drive, I have tried relabling the media, I've even tried a brand spanking new tape. The drive is an HP VS80 and is only 8 months old. What should I try next?

Hello,
try backing up to the tape drive by other software or through os. If it still is dying, call HP it should be covered.
