I accidentally erased my glibc RPM and now I get the following when I try to attempt any commands:

/lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

I can't even ftp or ssh to the server.

Any suggestions?

Nearly every binary depends on glibc. The only exceptions will be statically linked binaries (usually found in .../sbin directories). You may need to boot off alternative media (your installation CD-ROM perhaps) to allow you to reinstall it, because even the rpm command depends on glibc.

Annihilannic.

...bad ELF interpreter...

Look at your character sheet... mine, for example, says that I only speak Common and Giant. ;-)

(Sorry for the obtuse D&D reference there... I just couldn't resist)
