Hello, everyone!
I have an HP Pavilion ze4600 (ze4610us). I caught a virus off Steam - you know, the one that makes your mouse stop responding for a second, every ten seconds or so? It got into my BIOS, and I tried to reflash it with the Winflash utility on the HP site.
It had been shutting off unexpectedly, but not too frequently. Well, it chose this rather unfortunate moment to do so again. Now, when I turn it on, it just messes with the CDROM a little and goes down again.
I made a Boot Block Jumper and a Crisis Recovery Disk for my model. I figured out that it will access the floppy if you unplug the battery, and then hold down Fn+B while plugging it back in. When I do this, it accesses the floppy, but then just shuts down.
Anybody know what's going on? Please help.
Thanks in advance.
