Bad 8 port Messaging Card? 2

Hello all,
I have a really strange problem going on with a Merlin Messaging R3.
Initially the problem was the vm kept rebooting and it did this often, about 5 times in the hour that I was there watching it. I rebooted the system and the board still rebooted. Another BP that was there before advised the cust. that the vm would need to be replaced. We ordered a repl. board (reused the 8 Prt card)and I restored it from the backup that I made and rerecorded all prompts. The vm is still rebooting and doing something that it was not doing before. I was the only one in the building and placed a call and it was answered by the AA and it looked like 3 ports on the vm became active at the same time, another call and 2 were active and another call 5 were active.Any thoughts?? I have never seen a bad vm port card.

Key mode, or Hybrid/PBX?
LS/GS, T1, or PRI?

Have you printed your calling groups, and each voice mail port?

Hybrid/PRI and yes I printed the group- looks normal.Did not print out each station. What in particular am I looking for??

Another thing that I thought was unusual..when I placed a call and could see the light on the dsi board come on and hear the AA answer there seemed to be a delay in the port light coming on on the Messaging.

Is your Caller ID blocked on the phone you are calling in from?

I was using 2 cells to test- and yes 1 has blocked called id and that was something else I thought was strange that when I used my phone with the called id blocked I could see the call come in on the pri but never got the greeting nor see a vm port go active.

WOW!!! How interesting! I will have the customer try to find out what type of PRI they have coming in from the vendor. Too bad I can only give you one star- here is what you deserve!!

msi12 gets all the stars, I'm just the guy that archived the post. And yes, I've run into it a couple of times, so it always raises a flag for me.
