I am running arcserve 6.5. When I kick off a backup job, the c: partitions backups within a reasonable amount of time, but when it get's to the d: partition it slows to a crawl. I mean, it's taking 18 hours to backup 8GB of data. Done anyone have any ideas?

What kind of files are they? Are they small 32k or less files? Is the D: drive hanging off the same SCSI bus as the tape Drive? Are you using hardware or software compression? Is the D: drive have compressed files?
