BacoAppLog Purge

We've been running Macola ES for several years now and the BacoAppLog table has over 8 million records. I've been told that they have a job that will purge these records but we can't afford to lock up the system.

Question - Is it safe to delete records from this file using SQL directly?

I believe so. The BacoAppLog get written to every time someone opens a window in ES. I have written a Crystal report before from this table to find out who was the last person to run whichever program.

I am unfamiliar with any job to purge this table, cn you elaborate on this?

You would need synergy and you could run the background job LogHandler.exe
