I published a version 7.0 map (see link below). Someone claimed she couldn't open it until she got the most recent version of Acrobat reader. She claimed that before that she was using a recent version, presumably 6. (I didn't talk to her personally.)

I'm somewhat of a novice at Acrobat but it doesn't seem reasonable that this would happen. What's the scoop? We want to be sure that everyone can access our pages, not just people with a the latest versions.

Our GIS branch created the map, probably by "save as" from ArcMap. But there isn't anything fancy about it. Just a plain map so far as I can see.

 
I am able to open your PDF in reader 6.0. (I dont have anything earlier to test with.)

When I check the properties it says; can be opened with: All versions of Acrobat

If it were restricted, it would say something like; can be opened by: Acrobat 5.0 and later
