Hi,

I have read the information about backupsets in the AdminGuide.
There it is said that only the BA Client can use backupsets.

So what is about TDP data?
For example if I have got a TDP for Lotus Domino I think it is recommended to register an own node for TDP next to that BA Client node although it is the same machine, right?

Is it supported or does it work to generate backupsets of TDP clients (Domino, SQL)?

How about the restore of TDP databases?.

Help is really appreciated.

Regards

You can use Backupsets with a TDP client because you should be excluding the TDP data via an excludes with your BA Client Domain/MC.

To restore the data, you will need to recover the Backupset, then apply the TDP data using restore.

I created a node for the TDP process that runs the daily incremental backups. It works just fine.

However, what if I want to run a TDP job as an archive for long-term storage ?? What's the best way to do this ??
