Backups

When do you guys do a backup of the pabx, before or after config changes or both..?

we make hundreds of changes per week. after the midn does a backup to the active disk. 7 am i change both disk, do a edd scpu and another edd.. those two disk stay in 24 hours.. the next morning one will be from midn the other will be 24 hours since an edd.. i keep 10 disk one for each cpu marked mon thru fri... if i had a crash, i can back up to any period from anydisk... that's way more then i need but it's free insurance.. manual edd's are not done during the day, with 3 full times techs we would spend way to much time waiting on edd's... even if 43 is not in your drol the switch backs up if any change (check sum) was done since the last edd... i do have 43 in my drol. that was never there as default because the tape drives were not that dependable..
