Hi all.

I have a requirement to gather information about all backups configured in a Legato Networker environment. The basic information I require is the following:-

Networker Client Name : host.domain.com
Last Backed Up : hh:mm dd/mm/yy
Backup Type : Full / Incremental
Daily Schedule
FileSystem : /usr
Data Size : 110 MB

This output would provide multiple lines per client as there is likely to be more than one filesystem (/usr UNIX or D: E: etc Windows).

Does anyone have a script for UNIX/NT that can provide this. I need this raw data available to populate a spreadsheet for capacity modeling. The 'mminfo' syntax seems extensive, however, I'm struggling.

All help greatfully recieved.

Ok, not in the format you want (and if you do not print your bootstrap, you will need to sort that) but:
C:\>nsradmin -s servername -i filename

where filename contains:
.......................

show completion
print type: NSR group;
q
.......................
This gives you the details you want, you just need to format them then.

I'll give that a try. Is there something similar I can use to find out the backup hardware config.
For each Storage Node, what tape units are available (connected) and the number of tape drives ?

Yep, lose the show completion and use
print type: NSR whatever

eg
print type: NSR device;
or
print type: NSR policy;

Hi!

If you want to use the mminfo it is something like this.

mminfo -t "last week" -r "client,savetime,level,name,
totalsize" > outfile.txt
