Hi all.

We recently rebuilt an OWA/Exchange server here, and I'm having problems performing a backup on it.

The client machine (sornowa1) has had both the Legato Client and the Exchange module installed on it.

The log displays:

(Apologies for formatting.)

The backup server can see the client, and vice-versa, via ping tests.

When I try to open up the recover client on the client machine, it tells me it can't find a server.

Any ideas?

Did you test ping with both short name and long name?

It's saying that it cannot connect to "sornowa1".

Doh, I feel like an idiot.

Due to a corporate merger, we've got multiple different VLAN's running around.

The client, during it's rebuild, got an IP address change, and DNS was updated for one domain (the domain that the client was in), but not the domain the server was in.

Fixed DNS, rebooted the server, and presto, it backs up now.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!!
