Hi,

Here is my issues. I have my daily rotation setup on a frequency backup. For some reason (usually it happens always on a Friday) my schedule gets completely ignored as though its not there and it just runs the catalog back up. The thing that bugs me is there is no messages stating that it failed or could not find the media. It tells me nothing and nothing gets backed up. Has anyone come across this issue or know of what I can possibly do to fix it.

Have a look at your frequency settings for the backups and the times they run. Have they run after midnight?
I have had similar problems in the past with weekly backups set to a frequency of 7 days, if the backup occurs after midnight it throws the days out. I set my weekly backup frequency to 5 days to counter this.

Hope this helps.

Doesn't a manual backup also reset the 'backup window' on frequency based scheduling?

Had you run any manual backups since the last backup (but before the next backup window)?
