Another newbie question. Having some jobs fail over night - ion missed status. I try running with run now via ISCa, they then just sit there in pending , but can't for the life of me see why. There's nothing in the logs on the client baclient folder and all I have in the logs is

q session... cancel all the existing sessions for the node in question, then restart the backup on that node...

The other thing to try is check what the diskpool high migration is set to. If you hit the high migration point it may be going to your tape pool. If that happens and all your tape drives are in use, it may miss its window. The backup window is the start time plus the DURATION. The duration means that the backup can start ANYTIME during that period

Maybe a daft question - but are the required services running on the client systems? In my experience of dealing with customer calls relating to missed/pending backups the most common root cause is client-related, usually that the local schedule service is either not started or not managed.
