I have Symantec 12 with all updates installed and my backups keep failing on verify. The error indicates that a file is different but the file that is marked as different is never the same and could not possibly be different.
Here is the schedule. I have a MOnday Full backup. I then had a Tuesday thru Saturday that is a Differental. My Differential backups run fine. The Monday full keeps failing on verify because of a different file.
Symantec said to turn off verify. That is unacceptable. So they then had me add a reg key that supposedly turns of fail job on verify. Well that didn't work either.
My server is SBS2k3 Dell PE 830. My backup device is the Dell RD1000 external USB.
