Backuping /var/audit/files in Solaris

I have a Netbackup 6.5.6 environment.I will like to backup /var/audit/file on Solaris servers with retention period of 3months.Has anyone done this before.Any pointer is appreciated

If you have all_local_drives selected in your policy, it already is getting backed up.
