I had to retrieve a call from an old tape and followed the procedures as I have other times, but when I put a tape back in the drive, it will not start archiving. Any suggestions?
have you put the drive back into archiving mode before re-inserting the tape? did you use administrator to eject the tape originally? how full was the tape, maybe the logger believes it is full. You may need to try a new tape and forget about the rest of the room on that tape
