I am using ArcServIT6.61sp1 with SQL agent on a SQL Serve7 sp1 database.<br><br>When I backup a database, the logs are not deleted.<br><br>And when I try to backup the log I have the posssibility to ask to delete the log after backuping but it doesn't work.<br><br>All this used to work well with SqlServer 6.5.<br><br>Any idea of what is wrong ?<br><br>Thank you

Hi there,<br><br><br>What log are we talking about? If it's the arcserve log try checking your Arcserve admin settings.<br>Is your Dbpurge job running?<br><br>(If the snag lays in SQL or other I haven't run acorss the problem myself but the first thing you should try is applying new SQL agents and checking if there any known updates to resolve the issue.)<br><br>If you haven't yet been there this should be the link to follow (Computer Associates Support for ArcServe): <br><br><A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> it helps.<br><br>
