Backup to files server using exec 11d

I need to backup files to a files server instead of using a tape drive. This seems to work but the format is a backup file .bkf

So far I have not found a way of backing up the files in there original format, which is what i want to do.

Can this be done and if so how....or do I just use xcopy?

xcopy or robocopy but not backup exec.

Backing them up "in there (sic) original format" is a copy so you don't get the benefit of any compression.

Look into FRS instead.
