Backup to DVD with XP's Utility

Can anyone please tell me how i can do a file and folder backup to my DVD Burner using Windows backup Utility. I don't think it is possible because i only see the option to use CD-R media, NO DVD* media. I would like to do partcial file and folder backups with out having to drag and drop and without having to buy a new program. The software that came with my DVD burner does not have a backup program which sucks. If i am just out of luck can someone recommend some freeware that can do what i am talking about?

I don't think Windows supports DVD burning. It's limited to CDs.
