Backup to disk and Cloning

Hi,

I have installed networker 7.4.I have created Backup to disk (AFTD) device which can accomodate 3 days of backup.I want to Clone my data Everyday to tape.Now my problem is,how to clear the disk Space on Fouth day.Is it even possible?

Sure. Just assign an appropriate retention policy to the pool which you use for your disk media.

You may also use automatic staging to migrate the data from disk to tape. This is probably a better solution. However, there will only remain one instance of your backup data.
