My backup will not write over tapes. It worked fine the first time through the set, as they were all blank tapes, but now it says that the media can not be found, and cancels the backup. Am I missing something here?

You probably have a media set to infinite dont allow overite and the tape is being ejected.

Goto Tools - options - media management and set it to NONE for now. Try to run a few backups.

If you want to start protecting the tapes then you will need to set it to partial and then goto the media tab and right click on the existing media set and adjust the properties or create a new media set and setup the retension time and point the jobs to the new media set.
