backup takes 5 media but after post backup all in 1 media only

Hello,

We are using ArcserveIT 6.6 for Novel 411 . Our backup takes up to 5 media and yet after post-analysis of the backup via database , most of the volumes are only backuped up on the first media. Yet , when we monitor it, the backup changer says it is writing to the 2nd/3rd /4th media. Is this possible that after all backup it puts everything inside the 1st media. ? Please help
