Hi there,

I have a win 2k server, which is our file server. At the moment it gets backed up to 40GB tape every night. Which is not great seeing there is about 70GB of data on the server. I have selective about what data we backup.

What I would like is to have is a identical copy of the data at a remote location and then every night any changes made to the file server would get pushed across to the remote location.

I am looking for some software to do this.

Can anyone suggest any?

Eddy

Look for Replication software.

There is one called File Replication Pro by Diasoft, and another is by Signiant Mobilize.

You can also use a custom script using rsync.
