Backup slow!!

I have an ArcServe 2000 with sp4 installed on a Win2000 Server with sp2.
and
2 Overland Libraries with 10 Tapes each.

I have had some problems with my backup:
Originally, I was getting a throughput on our Notes server of 350MB/min and in the last couple of days the same job runs at 40MB/min

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check you don't have you anti-virus software set to check outbound files. If there are multiple sessions on this backup job, can you determine which session is slowing down, or is it all the sessions?
