I have 4 servers that sit in a DMZ that I cannot seem to backup. Right now I have the drives that I need to backup mapped to the backup box and I locked the computer so that the backups can run. I need to get this to work.

The computers in the DMZ are NT4 boxes and the backup server is W2K server.

I'm running backup exec 9.1 with remote agent installed on the remote computers using the veritas command line install for computers not part of a domain. Remote agent is running.

On your windows 2000 box check how the backup exec services are logging on as. Create a local user on the NT boxes with same username/pass and put them in the local admin group. You may have to go into veritas and add a Network -logon account and enter a the same user, with no domain name in front of it. Just has to be pass thru authenication.

Then you need to open some ports

Thank you for the suggestion and the documentation link.

I really appreciate the assistance!!!
