I’ll make this short & sweet
For some reason when performing a hot backup using scripts instead of copying the database and log files to the F:\tempback directory it is copying all the database and log files to the c:\ drive, which is not what we backup. If the log files haven’t altered why would it do this? It used t owork fine and copy to the right places but now.....
system details
Oracle 8i running on NT4 SP5 Compaq Server
Backups are being done with NT backup ( using this cause of validation issues, don't ask) using the AT schedule command
Cheers,
Craig
