Can anyone recommend a backup solution - full image backup with bare metal recovery - that supports stripe raid? I have a sun x2100 server with two 70Gb WD raptor drives that are striped as one, running centos 6.5, so the machine thinks it has one 140Gb drive. I've worked a lot with clonezilla but that doesn't support raid drives. I've also tried mondo rescue but that can't do bare metal restore to stripe raid. The raid on this sun server in driven by an nvidia chip on the motherboard. I may have to pay for a backup solution but can't afford much. I've tried writing to companies that do backup software but they don't even respond. Thanks for any pointers.

I found a solution, which was to use an LSI raid pci-e card and stripe the drives with that. Clonezilla the sees the raid array and can do a backup.
