I'm attempting a backup and restore on my database. The backup goes off without a hitch but when I try to restore I get an error. IBConsole claims that my TRANSPONDERID field in DOWNLOAD_ARCHIVE table must have a value. Upon checking this field I see that is indeed set to not "not null".
But then when I check the record it fails on, I see that is not null but rather a "null-string" which according to IBPheonix and various other groups on the net, is indeed a value.
Any ideas how to get around it, could it be my IBConsole, is there a later version or a better backup and restore utility available.
