Can anyone tell me if an older release Backup/Restore card or Backup/Restore/Modem card from an older release ACS will work on a newer version.And will a 4 port licence card from a VS5 work with a Messaging Rel. 1 or7

yes on the voicemail question and yes on the back/restore card.

Actually, NO on the VM question. VS mail and Partner Messaging are two different animals. The "expansion" card from a VS mail will not work as a "port license card" in a Messaging.
