Backup report Does not print

Hi All,

I implemented a scheduled backup job and configured the alert to print a report on completion of backup. However, after completing the backup successfully no report was printed. The computer and printer were both on. Does anyone know where I may have gone wrong?

Does the trouble ticket test print work (in CA Alerter if you right-click on the printer you have configured within 'Trouble Ticket' you should get a test print option).

If the test print works then chances are you misconfigured the job. Common thing is you only configure printing on one type of job completion status (say Success, when in fact the job fails - as no failure action is configured the log won't print). If you do add all the various options for job completion alerts then make sure you tick include your report in each one (or tick Activity Log for each if that's what you are trying to print - to me it seems better than the other reports).

Make sure the CA Alerter account is configured correctly to.
