hi expert !

The hdisk4 is malfunction/disrupted and will be replaced by new hard disk. There are 2 files system site in hdisk4 which consist 20 directories and occupy 21GB. Would appreciate if you can advise me of any command to identify what directory is in site in hdisk4. Therefore, I can backup those directory concerned instead backup for the whole directory.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
for example file systems on hdisk4 are /fs1 and /fs2
# cd /fs1
# find . -type d
will give you all directories into /fs1
# cd /fs2
# find . -type d
will give you all directories into /fs2

Regards Boris

hi,
to find out everything that resides on hdisk4 :-
