Server = HP Proliant DL380 G4 with hot plug tape unit(HP DAT 72) connected to Smart Array 6i controller.
O/S = SCO OpenServer 5.0.7
Has anyone else experienced the following error when performing a backup using a standard cpio command?

Backups have run fine on this server until recently and are running successfully on an identical server.
The tape unit has been replaced but the error is still occurring.
