Backup Oracle DB using OEM

After selecting the DB I want to backup whenI clickon Backup I get the following error

"This wizard can only be launched when connected to a OMS. Launch the application and connect to the OMS before trying to launch the wizard again."

I just created the OMS database and changed the pwd and am using the same pwd.

So when I tried to connect to the OMS with system as the uid and the right pwd it says "Incorrect login credentials"


Can someone please tell me what am I missing and how I should go about it?
