Backup Operation Incomplete

Hello all,

I have a question relating to around 50/60 servers, all different clients.

Here' an example.

I have Windows 2003 Standard Server, HP Ultrium unit and Arcserve 11.5 SP4 (build 4490)
We do a full backup every evening onto a tape.

The Backup works but on all backups we recevice"Backup Operation Incomplete"

We know this is because some temp files/ documents etc are open.

Is there any way around this ? I'd love my backups to say "successful"

no workaround here. As the backup jobs doesn't do exactly what you asked (it missed some files) it can only flag the job as 'incomplete' (one or more warnings in the job). Use filters to exclude these files from your backup job if you accept these to be missed from the backup operations. This way your job ends up succesfull and it also triggers your attention once the job ends up Incomplete.
