Backup Only works 3 times(Netware)

Arcserver 6.6 under Netware 5.1 with SP 5 on a Dell Poweredge 2500C. I've been working with Dell the last month on this problem. We changed the Seagate Dat Drive three times. The backup will work with a new tape, but the clean light will come on when it is done. After several times it won't work at all. Arcserver will just give the Error codes E6924, E6925, E6932, E6937, which they tell you to clean the drive. I have also E-mail Computer Assocites and am waiting to hear back. Thought I would try this forum to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

Have you tried using a new cleaning tape? I know it sounds obvious but if the one you've been using is old it might not like it.

Have you upgraded firmware on the server and tape drive (and SCSI card if not onboard the server)? Also, what Service Pack are you using for Arcserve? -----------------------------------------------------

Yes, tried Two new cleaning tapes.......Runing service pack 4....This is what the arc server people said...
The 69XX series Error Refer to the SCSI Communication Issues
1.Make Sure that Latest Version of the Controllercard Driveris Loaded
2.Check the SCSI Communication Channnel Including the Cable,Termination
3.Also Connect the Tape Device to a Different SCSI ID to Isolate the H/W Issues
4.Check the Tape Drive Cleaning and the Allignment of the Tape drive
5.Check whether you are using the ASPIBD or CANWPABD Driver toCommunicate with the SCSI Controller
....
My problem is that I am a Netware novice, but have learned quite a bit this last month.....
