Backup on multiple media

I have close to 15 server that i backup. Including both NT/2000 and Netware. The NT backup well but i seem to be having problems with netware backup.

I have BE 8.50 Rev 3572. I am using a ADIC Scalar218 autoloader with 18 slots. Two slots per backup every nite. I do a full backup evry nite. One tape for NT and the other for Netware. The total sizes for both NT and Netware backup are about 60GB each, A total of 120GB. I use DLT that can backup upto 75GB each. I have a 4 weeks rotation. 1 offsite every week. My overwrite protection is set to NONE.

The problem are as follow.
Netware jobs will backup 30GB on one tape and pick tape from the next day (next day NT/Netware tape) and run the remaining backup on it. I dont have spannig set.
Anyone Please help. I want to be able the job to backup on 1 tape.

Are you using any compression on the Netware machine. This is set to "on" by default when you install Netware 5.x

If that is the case, then that is where your problem is, because backup exec has to uncompress those files before they go on the tape.
