backup of hidden shares

i wanna backup files from another computer on the LAN i have to share its drive coz windows backup does not detect hidden share. I did not have the problem when i used CA ArcServe 9.

Is is possible to backup hidden drives like c$ or d$ on another LAN computer without sharing or mapping it?

Setup your backup with as much as you can then go find the file MS backup writes with its target list. You can modify that file and add the hidden shares manually and see what happens (its just a text file that opens with notepad but has a funny extension)

thanks will try it later but i am now facing another issue. I am trying to backup my domino server mail files. I have windows 2003 server with backup software and Domino server is a separate machine. I have mapped the D:\LOTUS folder on my domino.

I used to backup everything using Arc Serve 9 but this stupid windows backup is skipping files. How can i fix this thing???
