Backup of filegroups 1

Hi

I would like to make backups of a filegroup

But it doesn't work ? How could I do ?

And the restore ?

I saw on MSDN 2001 that it is possible to restore a filegroup but you have to restore the transaction log too.
Then ? the modifications will stay after the restore ..

Please help me

ps : I know my english is not very good but I cannot do better.

Hi,
U are right that if you restore from a file or filegroup you need to restore the transaction log as well as the database without which you cannnot process the backup operation forwards as you will see no item in the Enterprise Manager.
