I want to reformat my machine and I have backuped up everything except my mail folders in IE. What folders/files do I need. I already grabbed the Favorites folder, but I can't figure out where the Mail Stuff would be.

Thanks.

It depends upon which mail program you are using.
In IE, click Tools / Internet Options / Program
to see the name of the E-mail program.
If you use Outlook Express , you can search for
*.DBX files. Outlook 2000 stores mail in *.PST files.

If you're using version 5 or higher.

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{YOUR IDENTITY NUMBER}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Outbox.dbx
cleanup.log
Deleted Items.dbx
Drafts.dbx
Folders.dbx
Inbox.dbx
Offline.dbx
Pop3uidl.dbx
Sent Items.dbx

and any newsgroupos you may have subscribed to.
