Hi
In the past I had a backup job that ran at the end of each day and backed up to tape. If an additional tape was required the program would indicate and I'd simply put another tape in the drive and continue the backup. Recently this stopped working. The backup starts and then when the first tape is full, the tape is ejected and the program says “The fixed media is full. You cannot backup all of the specified data to this device. The backup operation will stop.”
This did not happen before, the program (NTBackup.exe)would usually ask for an additional tape. Any ideas why this is suddenly happening?
The same backup script runs on two other servers without this problem.
Thanks in advance
