I am running version 8.6 on a Windows 2000 server. I have noticed that some remote selections are being denied(due to pc's being turned off at shift end) Will this cause the entire backup to fail? If so, is it simply enough to remove the remote clients that are causing the denied status?
Thanks in advance.

A Failed status does not mean the backup job failed. It just means that a portion of the backup job failed. If you deselect the files that are causing the failed job, then the job will run without failure, but you have to remember that you are not backing those files up.
