I am running backup exec 2012. I have a single tape drive attached to the server.
currently, I am running an incremental daily and I have a monthly scheduled to run Saturday morning on the last weekend of the month.
right now, I am manually cancelling the Friday night incremental if the monthly backup is scheduled to start the following day.
is there a way to programmatically cancel this job? To only schedule it to run every 3 weeks or something like that?
The monthly job has a scheduling option to run on the last weekend of the month but I can't find a way to prevent the incremental from running to prevent a conflict with the tape in the drive.
