Hi,

Is there a way to force a cancel on "hanging" jobs to stop without restarting the master server. I have 2 jobs with the state "mounting". I have tried to cancel the jobs, restarting the services, down the drive, reset the drive, but the jobs still occur as mounting. The daily backup is not running because of these "hanging" jobs.

My platform is WIN2K3/NB 5.1 MP3

Thank you,

Sometimes you may get lucky and the jobs will eventually die once a quiescient period occurs. Othertimes you will have to stop/start netbackup.

Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.

And even better yet, sometimes you just have to delete them from the jobs directory.
