I have about 5 mailboxes that I need to backup today. The only software that I have is ntbackup. I need to make a pst file that has the inbox, deleted, and sent folders. Is there a way to this in exchange 2000. Thanks

Also the users are not aware of this.

Have the users been advised previously that their email was company property and could be read/reviewed by the company?

If you are using outlook Create the pst from the workstations then use ntbackup to back them up.

Use Exmerge to dump those five MB directly to five .pst files (note that you get whole MB not just in/out/deleted when using exmerge.)
