I have a job that normally takes between 7 and 9 hours to backup approx 38GB of data to two cascaded drives. This has not been a problem in the past. This past week however, when I come in in the morning it's waiting for another tape to be loaded, which will allow me to complete the job but it runs during business hours, not good. Today when I came in, it was on the verify, it was not prompting for another tape, and finished after 14.5 hours with no intervention and backed up the usual 38GB of data, same as the last week when it prompted me for another tape. Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on here?
