Hi all,

One of our servers(mail) is turned out to be configured with 3 SCSI's in RAID-0 (on Perc 4/di controller). Of course i want to switch it to RAID-5 somehow. Seems like the most secure option here is to make a full image of the system before doing anything.

Got myself an external USB IDE (7200rpm) First i tried to do it via Acronis - which didn't do well and was estimating 3 days remaining. Next tried GhostCast, it wasn't That bad but still reported from 22 to 24 hours to finish.
It seems strange as when i test imaged a regular workstation with about 12G of data it took like 30 minutes, and server's got maybe 10x of data. Even not taking in consideration that RAID-0 is very fast, it would take around 5-6 hours.

Am i missing something here ? Is there anything that can be done ?
Please let me know.
Thanks
