Backup home drives Permissions issue

Hi I'm a new member to this forum, although I have referred quite a lot to it for help in the past. I'm also a newb in Veritas and had a questions regarding home drives backups. I have users whose folders permissions are 700 (read,write,exec for owner only) and I need to backup the home drives up. I'm running Veritas Netbackup 6.0 MP4. Can some one break it down for me?
