Hi,Have a small office where we use backup exec v11d.we are running low on our tape system.we have now the dat4 tapes.our backup size is approaching 38 gig.i seek solutions to replace and i need the backups to be taken off site each day.would like to stay w/tape for now.any suggestions would be helpfull
been reading about LTO,DLT drives.

Thanks in advance Robert......

LTO is the way to go. DLT is dead.

LTO is indeed preferable to DAT, but there's a cost involved.
A cheaper option would be to allow jobs to span tapes, and/or modify your backup schedule so you're not doing full backups where differentials would do.
