BackUp Hangs

This is something that has been happening to me on Multiple Servers that I use this software. This is happening on a SQL Server and File Server. When I go to back up a Backup Directory either Ghost or BACKUP NTor 2000 version it hangs. I look at the log and it shows this file. Spits the tape out and will hang. I want to know what I have to do to back up a back up file. I have 8.6 on this machine with remote agent and SQL. I didn't update it with the most recent patches that Veritas just came out with but I looked over them. I normally change the tape and put a fresh one in and it continues. The tape is not filled. The night before it goes through just fine. I think I might eliminate that tape....What do you think?
