My daily backup failed to backup to a SGI OS mounted filesystem using command:
dump -a -L /asinc -f /asisgi/backup/spectre/daily /asinc
Question: Is this an permission issue? I made the necesary
entries in the local & remote .rhosts file.

DUMP: Date of this level 9 dump: Mon Apr 2 23:00:00 2001
DUMP: Date of last level 5 dump: Sun Mar 25 21:48:56 2001

DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
DUMP: estimated 213618 tape blocks.
DUMP: Volume 1 started at: Mon Apr 2 23:01:06 2001
DUMP: write error 30 blocks into volume 1
DUMP: fopen on /dev/tty fails: Device not configured
